Because we're human

I've just read a really interesting short story. I think that Paulo Coelho wrote it because I found it from his web. It's about a monkey.
Yes, I said that I would say good bye to facebook for a while, but it's too bad if I don't share it to people. :)
So in India, when people want to catch a monkey, they will make a hole on a coconut, put a banana inside, and bury the rest part of the coconut. (at least that's what I remember :p) and by the time pass by, a monkey will take a closer look, try to reach the banana in the hole while its hand is to big. As a monkey, instead of letting go the banana, the monkey will fight over, wrestle over how that it can still get the banana even if it is impossible, and finally gets caught. And I do believe, because we're human, we're not monkey, we're way more cleverer than them, we were also given the power decide which one is best for us, we are not supposed to do the same.

"The need to have a particular thing - often something small and useless - ends up making us prisoners of that need."
So be free. be happy. :D
